Pride

I am just one of those many proud Cantabrians that loves Canterbury rugby. Its the thing about the pride that we inherit in our blood that makes us so passionate about our team and our rugby. The fans that boo at anything that goes against Canterbury in a game it is just brilliant. I myself am a 100% Cantabrian with all my ancestors coming on the first ships to Christchurch and making the grawling walk over the burning port hills and seeing the flat dry plains that were covered in a swamp. Maybe that what makes us Cantabrians but it isn't many people moved to Christchurch and found themselves swallowed by this one eyed breed of people. We get criticized by many but we don't care all we need is our great city with our great people.Some Cantabrians move from Christchurch to other cities like Auckland but the blood of being a Cantabrian remains. It will be there for ever and those people will go watch Canterbury and be proud that they are from Christchurch.
